Andrew Foreman – Chief Executive Officer

Andrew is a successful businessman and entrepreneur in a range of sectors with a proven track record of business start-up, development, management buy-outs, acquisitions, also restructuring with profitable exits.

Andrew Foreman became a market leader in the modular and portable building industry starting in the late 1980’s when he established Foremans Relocatable Building Systems Ltd. The business was sold to Portakabin in early 2000, the market sector leaders, in a multi million pound deal. Andrew Foreman remains the owner of the factory and industrial land and leases to Portakabin / Shepherd Group.

Andrew Foreman then established Interlink Building Systems Ltd with a successful proven management team who focused on manufacturing and hire of modular buildings. The company became market leader with circa £50m turnover. The company was sold for £32m to WACO, a South African group in 2004. Andrew Foreman retained ownership in the commercial factories and industrial land on long term leaseholds.

Andrew Foreman also has interests in 8 factories and industrial land along with various housing, leisure developments and aviation. Andrew Foreman is the founder of the Catfoss Group of companies who are currently developing Eco friendly commercial solutions.

Andrew’s attention turned to the power sector over ten years ago with a focus to acquiring grid connections for investment opportunities. He founded ForePower which offers a full turnkey solution for power developments across the UK.

 

Steve Thorpe – Chief Operating Officer

An experienced energy developer with a proven track record in delivering micro power stations managing multi-million-pound projects within the Energy & Renewables Sector in the UK spanning over 20 years. His expertise spreads from land acquisition, commissioning sites to shovel ready status, full construction implementation to a live operational site.

He has extensive onsite knowledge with all civil, mechanical and electrical aspects. Working closely with Welsh Power, Eon Energy, National Grid and District Network Operators to name a few.

Steven manages project budgets in excess of £100M and works with multi megawatt capacities predominately using gas generation heat and power technologies and battery storage including; Liverpool University, Cranfield University, Royal Marsden Hospital, Thornton Waste Technology Park, Belfast Hospital and Citigen London.

 

 

 

 

Ashley Foreman – Head of Development

Ashley has been working within the construction industry for 10+ Years, working his way up within the family business, managing varying in sizes of project for multiple high end clients across the country.

During his time with Forepower he has helped establish the business within a diverse energy market, assisting the UK to a carbon neutral future. Before moving across to the energy division of the family business, Ashley worked and trained in the modular division (Catfoss Ltd). Gaining experience in quality control, health and safety processes and procedures and helping manage the hire fleet of c1200 temporary cabins. To pursue his ambitions, Ashley joined Forepower in 2016 to directly support Steven Thorpe the COO in delivering back-up micro power stations for the National Grid.

Ashley has helped Forepower achieve the main goal of developing shovel ready sites into fully developed and operational facilities. Managing and operating projects of different sizes from the 3MW battery storage facility in North Yorkshire (£2m build out), 29MW Aylesford battery storage facility (£20m build out) and the 300,000 tonne permitted waste facility at Graphite Resources.
